Tommy Mara was born in Brooklyn, New York April 10, 1955. As a
young child, he sang his heart out while his grandmother played the
piano. As a teenager, he played the drums and sang in a local rock band.
After moving to Florida Tommy joined forces with local oldies act, The
Saints. After several shows the group became known as Tommy and
The Saints. In 2000, Tommy became the lead singer of "The
Crests", soon afterward the Legends of Doo Wop asked him to join
their group. in 2012 Tommy was presented the "Silver Eagle Patriot"
award for his support and acknowledgment of our service men and women.
Tommy continues to sing "Stand by Me" until our troops come
home!
